Detroit is gone, destroyed in an event only half-remembered even by those who survived it. In its place stands The Divide, a no man’s land cut off from the United States by National Guard soldiers. It has become a haven for metahumans from around the world as they seek to unlock the hidden sources of power forged in the destruction.

Now divided in to sevearl smaller city-states and ruled over by the enigmatic Antagonist, the devastated city is one fight away from total anarchy. In to this walks the mysterious Able, on a quest for a mysterious source of power; Bob Cat and Death Ray, a pair of crime-fighting bounty hunters with conflicting goals; The Everyman, a bear-swilling powerhouse looking for a fight and the occasional chance to do good; and Jack Flash, maybe the only hero the city has left.

Can these disparate souls rise to save the city they call home, or are they destined to fall to a greater, deadlier threat?
